About Me
I am a Research Associate at Mohamed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, affiliated with the SPriNT-AI lab and the CERT Lab, where I am advised by Dr. Karthik Nandakumar and Dr. Praneeth Vepakomma, I am also fortunate to have a close collaboration with Fahad Shamshad.
I have recently obtained my Masters degree in Computer Vision from Mohamed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Haris Khan and Dr. Karthik Nandakumar, prior to that I pursued my undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Durgapur. I have also worked as a reseach intern with Professor Ram Sarkar at Jadavpur University.
Research Interests
I am interested in the safety, efficiency, and trustworthiness of AI models, particularly Vision-Language Models (VLMs). My current work focuses on calibrating Vision-Language Models to ensure their predictions strike a proper balance between accuracy and confidence, making them more reliable and applicable in real-world scenarios rather than remaining confined to code and conferences without practical application.
